Prayer is vital in the life of every believer and is the power of the church. God invites us to pray, and He hears and answers the prayers of His people. Jeremiah 33:3 says, "Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know." and Psalm 34:17 tells us, "The righteous cry, and the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles".

1 Peter 4:10 says, "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms."

Ephesians 6:7-8 goes on to say, "Rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to man, knowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether he is slave or free."

Jesus said, "In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." Matthew 5:16 (ESV)
